Iridology
Through the study of the iris in your eye, it’s possible to identify issues with the body and an Iridology exam will help diagnose areas of weakness before they become a problem
What is Iridology?
Iridology is the study of the iris of the eye. It is a technique used to diagnose issues with the body by looking at parts of the iris. This process enables an accurate picture of the eye to be obtained which provides information about the cause and nature of a patient’s problem.
As far back as the 17th Century, doctors were studying iris markings and forming theories over what they meant. In 1880, a Hungarian doctor, Dr Ignatz von Peczely, published his “Iris Chart” after studying and recording the effects on patients on their iris. Further research has contributed to the study of iridology.
Who can Iridology help?
Iridology can reveal imbalances and weaknesses within the glands, organs and general body structures. It can accurately point out areas of toxic accumulations that may be contributing to a particular problem and also find areas of genetic weakness.
You can use Iridology as a preventative measure, by identifying problem areas before they develop into more serious health issues. You can also use the technique to monitor how well a therapy is working as the iris will change as the body moves towards better health.
During a consultation, a simple torch magnifier is used to study the iris. Your therapist will provide analysis of your iris and explain what this means to your health.
