Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Answers to some of our most frequently asked questions at The Heeler Centre:

First, you need to get to our clinic which is located at Bridge House, Station Approach East, Hassocks, BN6 8HN. The Heeler Centre is situated right next to Hassocks train station on the Eastern side of the railway. We are directly opposite The Hassocks Pub and Station Garage. Our car park is situated behind the clinic and we have two spaces directly outside the clinic.

Once you’ve entered the Heeler Centre Clinic, one of our friendly reception team will greet you. They’ll take your details and invite you to take a seat in our waiting area. It’s all very relaxed and the receptionists are more than happy to answer any questions you might have or continue having a chat!

If it’s your first visit, we’ll need you to fill out a few details for our records. Once it’s time for your appointment, your therapist will come out and greet you and show you to your treatment room.

Yes. If you need to pop to the toilet, they are situated in the waiting area. You are also able to leave your appointment to use them should you need to.

All our therapists are very personable and professional. They will put you at ease from the first meeting. In the treatment room, your therapist will look at the information you’ve provided and ask you a number of questions to understand your situation and possible causes to advise on treatment.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask your therapist. Our aim is to make your visit to The Heeler Centre as comfortable as possible.

Depending on the treatment you’ve chosen, your therapist will walk you through what you need to do. If you need to get changed or remove clothing ready for treatment, your therapist will step outside the room to give you privacy. Your dignity and privacy is held with the upmost respect but as always any reservations let your therapist know and they will tailor make the treatment so you are not uncomfortable.

Its always best to wear/or bring comfortable clothing.

Your therapist will explain if they feel you need further treatment or if they would like to see you for a follow up or even if they feel you need to see another therapist instead. We wont keep you coming back unless we feel you have to. This is always on your terms. If you can’t or don’t want to visit again then there is no obligation.

Our reception team will take payment and make any appointments you require. We accept cash, debit or credit card (not AMEX). If you require an invoice, they can print or email this for you too.
