Why did you choose your profession?
I’ve always enjoyed having a massage myself and had lots of treatments in my home country of Thailand. I decided that I wanted to train as a masseuse and did some of my learning in Thailand. In Thailand, I learned how to do the Thai massage, Thai pressure, and Thai oil massage and on moving to England, I then studied aromatherapy, hot stone massage, and Indian Head Massage and Sports Massage.
What do you most enjoy about your work?
I enjoy helping people relax using all aspects of my massage training and find it particularly gratifying when the client feels uplifted and relaxed from my treatments.
In what areas do you specialise?
I've primarily trained in aromatherapy, Thai, and hot stone massage and particularly enjoy alleviating tensions around people's back, neck and shoulders. Indian Head Massage is something I find particularly relaxing and always finish my treatments with an element of that. Equally, I enjoy the aspects of pregnancy and sports massage.
Office workers or more recently people working from home- alleviating tension through the neck and shoulder to prevent headaches. Increasing flexibility of clients who regularly exercise helping to prevent injuries
What conditions do you enjoy treating?
I particularly like treating tension and aching muscles, as I enjoy helping to alleviate peoples stress, strains and headaches.
How long have you been at The Heeler Centre?
I started in March just before lockdown and the receptionists and other therapists I met had already made an impact as I missed being part of the team while I couldn’t treat.
