Nikki has been a qualified podiatrist for 31 years and has been working at The Heeler Centre since 2007. She has worked in the NHS and private practice as well as being a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Podiatry at the University of Brighton. In 2008 she became a Fellow of The Royal College of Podiatrists for her contribution to the profession. She practices all aspects of clinical podiatry and carries out minor operative procedures for ingrown toe nails under local anaesthetic here at the clinic. Nikki is available for podiatry home visits, please contact our reception team to book.

Why did you choose your profession?

To be able to meet people and to have a skill and work with my hands

What do you most enjoy about your work?

I most enjoy alleviating people’s pain, sometimes immediately, getting to know the local community and working with different materials and equipment.

What are your specialisms?

Ingrowing toenails and skin lesions.

What conditions do you most enjoy treating?

Ingrowing toenails and corns

Monday: 8.30am - 1.00pm
Home visits available by arrangement

Do you accept insurance work?

Yes. Those which cover podiatry and/or chiropody.
