How long have you worked at The Heeler Centre?

I started working at the Heeler Centre 1998.

Why did you choose your profession?

I always wanted to work in healthcare. I did a lot of work experience at 16 years old. After watching a podiatrist perform a minor op on an ingrowing toenail, the profession was sold to me.

What do you most enjoy about your work?

I absolutely love my work. I love dealing directly with people and hopefully giving them immediate relief from their symptoms.

What are your specialisms?

I treat all routine foot conditions (e.g. nail problems, corns, callus). I am also trained to treat diabetic and rheumatoid patients with foot ulcers and I can do biomechanical assessments.

What conditions do you most enjoy treating?

Although my main area of work is quite routine, I am very interested in the biomechanical assessment which involves the correction of poor foot alignment with orthotics.

When are you available at The Heeler Centre?

Monday / Wednesday / Thursday: 8.00am - 1.00pm
Friday: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Do you accept insurance work?
