Nutritional Medicine
Nutritional Medicine therapy uses individually designed dietary and supplement programmes to help prevent and overcome a wide range of health issues. Problems that respond favourably to Nutritional Therapy are allergies, arthritis, asthma and hay fever, blood pressure, candida, depression, diabetes, digestive and bowel, infertility, M.E. and fatigue, migraine, PMT and menopause, skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, and weight problems. Sports nutrition, special diets and children’s problems can also be helped.
During a consultation a full medical and dietary history will be taken to enable a comprehensive picture of the patient and their problem to be obtained. Various diagnostic procedures may also be employed to provide further information. An individual dietary programme is then designed and discussed with the patient along with advice on any natural supplements that would be appropriate.
