Sports/ Injury Rehabilitation

"Rehabilitation is the restoration of the ability to function in a normal or near-normal manner following an illness or injury"  The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (2000)

Within each session, individual specific rehabilitation programmes are devised to help in the recovery of an injury regardless of when the injury occurres.

Each session includes a combination of injury specific excersises, stretches, treatment advice and body conditioning techniques that are very effective and can be performed at home, at work or even at the gym.  the duration of each session is 1 hour and includes advice on treatment between sessions to successfully rehabilitate an injury to its normal function and reduce the chances of injury

Since graduating from the University of Kent with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Therapy, Health and Fitness.  Charlotte has been working closely with both the sporting sector and public sector.

Currently Charlotte is the Brighton and Hove Albion FC under 16's Physiotherapist and so has a keen interest in treating sports related injuries. She has the knowledge and experience in confidently treating non sports related injuries holistically.

Charlotte beleive's the key to correct recovery from injury consists of re-alignment, deep tissue massage and excersise rehabilitation.

This can also be applied to simple muscle or joint dysfunction in order to relieve aches and pains of everyday activities.  It is for this reason that each treatment is completely individual specific and consist of a mixture of deep tissue sports massage and excercise advice to prevent an injury occuring.
