Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is the key that enables the vast power of the mind to bring about positive and beneficial changes. Nearly everyone can benefit in some way from hypnotherapy, whether you want to change a habit or rid yourself of a phobia or some other emotional problem. Hypnotherapy utilises hypnosis, a state of altered consciousness in which the therapist can help you to access the deeper levels of awareness, to which you are usually oblivious in your normal day-to-day functioning. It is at these deeper levels of consciousness that hypnotherapists work with you, to bring about a change in the way you feel, think and behave.
Hypnotherapy can be very helpful to stop smoking easily, without the struggle some people may experience using willpower alone.

Sophie Thornton BSc(Hons).Dip.I.Hyp.TFTdx.RR
Sophie trained in Hypnotherapy and qualified in 2000 with the Isis School of Integrated Hypnotherapy based in Brighton where she gained a full honours diploma (Dip I Hyp). Sophie also advanced her hypnotherapy training with the UK Hypnotherapy Training College and has attended Paul McKenna's Weight Loss Seminars and she is a member of the Hypnotherapy Association.
Sophie’s training in Thought Field Therapy in 2005 was with Kevin Laye (algorithm level) and Dr Roger Callahan (founder of TFT) to diagnostic level - TFTdx.
Her training in Reflective Repatterning (RR) in 2009 and Advanced Reflective Repatterning in 2010 was with the therapy's developer, Chris Milbank.
Sophie regularly attends seminars and training to ensure that she is up to date with new techniques and research. With a unique blend of these powerful techniques Sophie can help you to bring about positive lasting change to your life - often within one session.
