Diagnostic Imaging
The use of diagnostic ultrasound has long been established in the field of abdominal and gynaecology investigations. It has also, in recent years, become a key imaging modality for soft tissue injury diagnosis and treatment, including for tendon, muscle and nerve pathology.
A full range diagnostic ultrasound is now available at The Heeler Centre, provided by Medical Imaging Partnership, for musculo-skeletal, abdominal and gynaecological referrals.
All the ultrasound is provided by locally based HPC registered Sonographers. Led by Nicki Delves, Consultant Sonographer, who specialises in musculo-skeletal ultrasound and supported by locally based Consultant Radiologists.
Medical Imaging Partnership provides the very best key services in diagnostic imaging in ultrasound, MRI and X-ray that touch all aspects of a patient’s healthcare.
Our Sonographer
Nicki Delves DCR DMU
Nicki originally trained as a Radiographer at Guy's Hospital, followed by working in Stoke Mandeville, South Africa and Guildford. She undertook the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound at Guildford and Southampton. She has been practicing a full range of diagnostic ultrasound within Sussex for 20 years, developing her particular interest in musculo-skeletal ultrasound since 2009.
She practices ultrasound locally within NHS hospitals and Orthopaedic Centres.
She is an active member of the British Medical Ultrasound Society and a tutor for MSK ultrasound training courses.
